Today we finished Hotel Rwanda and turned in our viewing guides. If you were absent, fill out the 8 stages of genocide on the viewing guide (found here) using the notes from class. If absent, you may watch Hotel Rwanda on your own and fill in examples of the 8 stages, OR you may read the following 2 articles about the genocide and fill in the examples from that.
We also discussed the Rohingya genocide taking place in current Myanmar. Notes for Rwanda and the Rohingya can be found here.
